You don’t know what you don’t know… let’s change that.
Upcoming session:
Sept 6th-Oct 11th, 2025 Saturdays 1-3pm PDT *first class 12:30-3pm
‘Why did no one tell me that?’ is one of the most asked questions I hear from people who just went through a birth. What many don’t usually realize, is it’s often not in reference to a specific piece of information. What’s really being said is, ‘I had no idea I would feel that way…’
If there is one thing I know about birth, it’s that it is a full body and soul experience. Which is why I designed my class a little different than the typical childbirth education - with evidence-based information and intentional self-reflection being the core pillars in preparing for your birth.
It’s great if you know about the possible interventions, positioning, and how to do a hip-squeeze- all of which, and more, we will cover in the class. I also want you to know how to shift and flow during the birth. And - most importantly! - that you can trust yourself. Not because you have all the answers, but because you know what it feels like to be connected to your truth.

FAQs
-
I recommend taking a class no earlier than your second trimester or later than 36 weeks. Most often I see people between 25-35 weeks for birth education.
-
The welcome packet you will receive after signing up for class includes a list of suggested items to have while we practice the more hands on skills. Most things are items you’ll have around your house.
-
No problem! While I encourage everyone to attend the live classes, life sometimes has a different plan. All classes will be recorded for later viewing and you can get any questions answered during the private office hour times.
-
Every family is welcome here and the classes are designed with that in mind. Single parents may invite their primary support person(s) to join and all primary co-parents in a poly fam may attend. I do request that attendees remain consistent for the entire series.
